Picnic at Snowy Range
Last Sunday, we took a picnic lunch and the dogs and headed over to the Snow Range area. We took the back roads to Woods Landing and from there over the hill to Centennial. It was a nice day with some clouds but we got some nice photos and the dogs got a walk along an alpine lake. Bella went for a swim in the freezing water. I got some waterfall footage with the Miro.
Here is a panorama of the top of the range.
I will post the waterfall footage soon.

Monday Chores
Today, we plan to do some cleaning and laundry. Then, a long walk to the pond with the dogs. And, finally, a lazy afternoon.
Yesterday, we drove to the Snowy Range where we had a picnic lunch and the dogs played in the snow and cold water at 11,000 feet. I got some slow motion shots of waterfalls that I will post soon.
In the mean time, here is another shot of Bella running. Note how her tongue flops up and down with each stride. This is one second of real time.

Where the Antelope Play
The other day we went on a drive to take some photos for Lynne’s blog, and to try to find an antelope that we could “shoot” with the high-speed camera. I learned that nature photography is a lot harder than it might seem. You need to find the subject in a good location, you need nice light, and you need to be in the right place at the right time. The previous day, we saw dozens of antelope. On this day, only a few and using the rig shown here, we got the movie below.
The thing about filming antelope running, is I suspect they will always be running away and thus one gets lots of nice antelope butt footage. We’ll try again next week

Bella Running in Slow Mo
Here is Bella coming at me full steam. This movie is actually of 1 second of real time.
And, here she is another time.
I’ll try to get more of these—and of the other dogs—and post them soon.
Shot with a Phantom Miro M320S, handheld. I had no viewfinder or monitor so I was just pointing it at the dog
