Hi everyone!
Well now that my Cardinals have been elimanted from the playoffs it’s time for the cheese making to begin. Summer has been wonderful, but this time of year I always start getting the itch to get my spoon wet.
This year I plan of focusing on the following cheese: Romano, Stilton, Cheddar, Camembert and my endless attempts at turning out a proper swiss.
It will still be a week or so before I can actually begin the process but just thinking about it gives me a happy feeling.
I hope this post finds you all well and I look forward to another season of comparing results and experiences.

Man its good to hear from you.  I was beginning to think you had been abducted by aliens.  You’ve got some catching up to do; as some of us have been steadily making cheese even through the Summer.  I’ll admit its been hectic at times trying to keep indoor and outdoor activity going at the same time.  Hope you can get up to speed in short order.  Welcome back Bro!

LOL@Neil and thanks for the welcome back, Rich and Nabil.
Actually it’s been a great summer altough a bit cold. All in all I got everything accomplished that I had hoped for and have been feeling a little depressed over the coming winter weather.
But…...
Once the fall/winter blues started to set in, I turned my focus to making cheese and suddenly the winter months began to sound a lot more appealing.
It will probably be next Sunday before I get the opportunity to actually begin, but I’m already looking forward to making my first wheel of cheese. Believe it or not, I’ve missed you guys and look forward to sharing information with each other this year.
Thanks again for the warm welcomes….

Dave
