I went to a wedding a few weeks ago, and they had a fruit tray with a container of cheese in the middle. It was white a creamy and delicious. It was not cottage cheese or yogurt, it had a very nice cheese flavor. I asked the bride and she didn’t know. She said that she ordered the fruit and cheese platter.

So what do you think? I have no idea what kind of soft cheese has that kind of a cheese flavor. Do you know what kind of soft cheese would be served with fruit?

I’m not sure, but it may be a blend of some sort.

I have been looking to a couple of episodes of Cheese Slices this weekend and was amazed by the amount of different cheeses there are e.g. in a state as California or an island as Crete. So I’m afraid it is impossible to guess what you have been tasting. At least it was tasteful!

I can’t get the cheese slices stuff to download off of that site. I tried it from a different site and found a few but they don’t have a picture to it. They have sound but no picture. I will keep trying. I will look into that Neufchatel, I’ve never had any so it might be that. It was delicious.

Im making a dip right now, first keifer then drain it overnight in a cloth so its thick like cream cheese.

Neufchatel is basically the same as typical cream cheese in taste.  Likely you had something different.

Well, have fun watching the video’s. Watched DVD 3 last night. It was nice to see the island of Texel in the Dutch episode (I know that sheep farm!) and overall it is very inspiring….

I think it was called gervais. From all of the descriptions that I read it sounds like it, but I’ve never heard of it before.
