I just hit a major milestone. Wednesday I made my 400th cheese. It was a cheddar. It’s pretty amazing that I’ve come this far. Most hobbies don’t last too long - at least not for me. But cheese making has become a regular for me. Aside from keeping friends supplied with cheese, I enjoy having fresh cheese for myself; so it’s a very practical hobby. And I haven’t yet found a person who doesn’t think that home made cheese is better than mass produced commercial cheese. It’s nice to be able to produce such a high quality product.
