There are some great aussie cheeses, but those aren’t they!

Murray Bridge isn’t far from where I live .. well 70km .. but even closer is Woodside cheese .. oohhhh man!
I’m surprised actually that MB is sold OS. It hasn’t been in production all that long. They make good milk, unHOMO, which I buy when I can’t get my favourite. Actually Paris Creek, who make the milk, also make cheese, but its not very wonderful. Isn’t that interesting?

Interesting how two people can read the same thing and get two totally opposite reactions. I didn’t see anything that struck me as ‘testy’ in brafrau’s first reply.

Just shows how careful we should be, before jumping to conclusions.

Brau fra, When I lived in queensland years ago I remember eating Coon cheese.  I really don’t remember what it was like a colby or mild cheddar?  Are you familiar with it?

What I shoudl have done is look at the bits I don’t know anything about and learned something!

Coon cheese is australia’s biggest selling cheese. Originally it was called “tasty”, from the region of tasty I guess! Its uniform blocks of sanitary milk fat, matured in its package. We used to eat lots of it!
Funny name though .. don’t think it will take off in the States.
