Penstemon | This tall, beautiful Penstemon grows just behind the cabin (you can see logs in the background.) This one may not be native to the area, but may have been introduced by Rick when he seeded wildflowers around the cabin in 2001. Still it is quite prolific and is expanding to grow all around the cabin. Photo by Lynne ono 7/8/2005. | 0 | 07/25/2005 |

Scarlett Gilia | Also known as Sky Rocket. This was not taken around the cabin (unfortunately) but on a drive to the Snowy Range. Photo by Lynne on 7/6/2005. | 0 | 07/25/2005 |

Sky Pilot | This is one of Lynne's favorite wildflowers. They grow in alpine regions just as the snow is melting. This was taken in the Snowy Range on July 4th, 2005. | 0 | 07/25/2005 |
