Agaricus Amicosus
Amicosus means something like "friendly" in Latin. This is also sometimes called the agricus silvaticus. It grows in pine forests, like the one surrounding our cabin. In fact, this specimen was found within 50 feet of the cabin. It has pink gills when young and stains pink. This is a great edible, and we tend to have it with morning omelettes. The familiar "button mushrooms" you get at the grocery are from the agaricus family.
