On the 6th of July, 2005, Lynne spotted these mushrooms growing out of a scar on a standing dead aspen tree. Clearly some kind of oyster mushroom, we believed them to be Angel Wings and could already taste them in our mouths. Since we had several more days at the cabin. We decided to leave them and let them grow before harvesting them. You can follow their progress in the next few photos. Photo by Lynne on 7/6/2005.
