More on Cheese
I haven’t posted an update to this site in a very long time. No news, I guess…
But, I want to update you on my cheese making progress.
The Farmhouse Cheddar cheese is quite good. Especially after it had some time to age after breaking the wax mold around it. It has become somewhat sharp and has a great flavor. I’m going to make more this weekend.
And, I’ve made many other cheeses that I am anxious to try. Click “more” for the details.

The Parable of the Blind Men and the Elephant
This parable by John Godfrey Saxe is familiar to all, I’m sure. I stumbled across it the other day, and while familiar, I thought it would be fun to remind you of it here!

Does spelling really matter?
Several people have sent me this message, so I thought I’d pass it along to you. I suspect the proposed hypothesis is true for fluent readers and for shorter words. See what I mean by clicking on “more”.

I’m not a fan of cynicism and pessimism, but ...
Sometimes I visit www.despair.com for a laugh. This whole site is consistently cynical and pessimistic about business culture. Still, taken “tongue in cheek”, some of the web pages, and especially the “motivational” posters are a laugh. So, I often use this cynical site to cheer myself up!
