When I saw these sunglasses on a kid on our first trip to Lady Liberty, I knew I just HAD to have them! So, on our return trip with Rick’s parents the other day, I went into the gift shop. No glasses. ‘Sorry, the girl behind the counter told me. We don’t have them but you can buy them on the ferry.’ So I did. Rick thinks I’m crazy, and if I wear them in public I doubt he’ll want to be seen with me. I bought them mostly for wearing around the pool next year. Come on, don’t you think they’re great???

Mist rises up off Monksville Reservoir as the sun starts warming up the water.
At the Warwick Farmers Market today I took some time to capture some of the wonderful vegetable and fruit displays.
Today we picked up Rick’s parents in Philadelphia, PA. They were on a week long tour that ended at Independance National Historic Park in downtown Philly. Thank goodness for Becky who guided us right to the exact spot with no problem. It took us a little over 2.5 hours. Here is Independance Hall as we saw it after eating Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches from a street vendor. Sorry for the backlighting, but I had no options. Either take the photo or not!
Here is another shot I took in Philly while waiting for the folks to get their baggage from the hotel (The Marriott). I have no idea what building this is, sorry, but the play of light and shadow caught my attention, hence the photo.
