The faeries have been decorating the Thorn Queen’s Kingdom of late. See the lights back in the woods?
They are really droplets of water left behind from our rain yesterday with the sun shining through them, but I like to think of them as something otherwordly. Like the Thorn Queen.
But if you squint your eyes up they become faerie lights and not just droplets of plain water.
Squint a little bit more … there, that’s it.
And you might just see something very special.
And for you non-believers out there, this is not the first time I’ve sighted faeries in my woods. Check this out.

I definitely see the faerie lights, especially in the next to last picture! We had rain too but never got the sun. We have sun this morning though. I’ll have to look for the lights on my lone tree. Not quite the same effect though with just one tree.

Maggie,
C, you’ll be lucky to see them just in one lone tree. They prefer the Thorn Queen’s thorns and brambles.
Helene, aha! I believe you’re right…it just might be! She’s bright enough!

I think that IS Tinkerbell!
It’s easy to see how stories began about fairies and such, when all we need to do is squint a little bit to enter a mystical kingdom.

You’ve made me a believer! That is some pretty awesome photography, lilsis. You should submit it somewhere.
