Back to a new slo-mo vid for you. Who knew that butterflies [or maybe these are moths?] use their wings like birds do? They always look like they are just flitting around and not taking deep strokes. This is a series of clips put together in one video. Watch for a bumblebee to helicopter in on the third butterfly segment.

These are exquisite! I tried to get a pic of some orange and black butterflies this morning, but they were all blurry.

wow! i was transfixed by that. that’s amazing! it looks like hard work. i think i would walk a lot if i were a flutterby. don’t apologise for being down! it is natural. i am very jealous of the pool as i sit here in wooly slippers snivelling with a cold!

Funny, when you see videos like these, it make you wonder the secrets behind the motion of other objects and living things alike. I remember being fascinated in one of my Social Studies classes eons ago. We were discussing the Industrial Revolution and child-labor. There was a picture taken of a young girl who moved so fast in her job that even the camera shutter could not catch her movements.
