Yesterday I was out in our woods taking photos of some flowers. I saw this tree and for whatever reason decided to take a photo of it. Take a close look at the two photos below. The first one was taken with flash; the second one without a few seconds later.
Could this be a faerie? I think this is pretty strange! And no, I did not alter this photo in any way. I don’t see any explanation in the second photo for the image in the first photo, do you?
Here is a closer look:
I don’t know about you, but I believe in faeries!
Looks like a faery to me. I, too, believe in these creatures. You know, you and I are not the first humans to believe ... though this train of thought isn’t as popular now as it used to be.
Maybe the faery showed herself to help cheer you up?
What a great photographer you are, that you caught her in the digital realm. I salute you!

It doesn’t surprise me at all that there would be fairies in your garden!

If you believe in faeries, then it must be a faery. Or, maybe it is possibly an insect or falling leaf not in your range of focus. Maybe it is a strange-shaped orb.

Either way, I hope it’s a good luck faerie!

Don’t have an answer, though I tend to think that sometimes we can catch “bits” like that on film…be they faerie’s, orbs of energy, ghosts. I think its really interesting that the photo revealed that shape, I’ve never seen that before.

Bizarre, hey folks?
MJD, nothing fell when I was taking the photo and there weren’t any bugs flying around. This was taken with a camera with an LCD screen, so I would have seen something in my peripheral vision had it been there. I was holding the camera pretty far in front on me.
Laura, welcome!
Krista, the shape is so perfect is it not?

I too believe… some say the dragonfly is the faery in disguise. There are wonderful books by Brian Froud. http://www.worldoffroud.com/www/main.cfm
