How beautiful. I wonder how they look now though - the poor star magnolia looks pretty sad after the hard freeze we had.
Thanks C. They probably did not fare very well and some of the double flowering trees had not bloomed yet. Around here everyone’s tulip magnolias look brown. Too bad.
Gosh, how magnificent are they! A beautiful area for people to enjoy thanks for sharing.
Joyce, they truly are! There are over 2,000+ trees planted here and many different varieties, some of which had not bloomed yet. Newark NJ is not known for its beauty so to have this park in one of its suburbs is a good thing!
