Just a few more photos from my trip to Skylands last week.
This row of cherry trees never let me down!
This little guy was flitting around from blossom to blossom. Pretty, isn’t it?
Statue with golden forsythia as a backdrop.
Or if you prefer, a statue with a pink cherry as a backdrop.
Close-ups of a grape hyacinth and a pasque flower. Things look so strange when you take a really close look at them, don’t they?
Nice photo of the Red Admiral. I just put up a photo of the grape hyacinth on MY blog! We have a ton of them this year. Very cool photo of the pasque flower.

I love to see the bright colours of spring flowers after the drab winter days. Forsythia is such a beautiful yellow and the grape hyacinth is one of my favourite bulbs. I don’t know the pasque flower but it looks quite beautiful. Great photos - especially the pretty butterfly.

Thanks Carolyn for identifying the butterfly/moth, how did you know what it was? You must have looked it up, eh? I didn’t know you knew your butterflies/moths so well! I got a crick in my neck trying to keep him in focus!
Joyce, I think grape hyacinths are funny little things! Pasque flowers don’t grow naturally here in New Jersey like they do on our cabin property in Colorado. They are in the anemone family. Glad you liked the photos.

I’ve had Red Admirals on my butterfly bush so looked them up then.
