Unfortunately I have had to close the entry on Hailey’s birthday. The person on FaceBook has now stolen two more photos to put on their FaceBook page from that same blog post and now I know for certain how the first photo ended up there in the first place. It’s disheartening to say the least. Especially since FaceBook did indeed remove the first offending photo. It’s enough to make me cry. Truly.

I don’t know what to say except how VERY sorry I am that this happened to you. I don’t know much about internet rights, but I do know that some people seem to feel it is their perogative to take other people’s photos and info as their own. What a shame.

Bigsis, internet rights .. well .. most people don’t care about copyrights. Thanks!

How discouraging. Is it possible to watermark your pics so they can’t be used? Or if they are, your info will be on the pic.

Christina, hello there! Yes, it is very discouraging. However, I’m not sure it will happen again. This person was looking for dog photos and since I had put the name of the breed in the text he probably found them that way. I could watermark them, yes, but I won’t unless I absolutely have to. I’ve seen other sites where they watermark them and all I see is that. Thanks for commenting!
