Lately I’ve been noticing reflections and shadows around the house. Maybe it’s the angle of the sun this time of year because I don’t always notice them.
Here are a few I’d like to share with you.
Reflection of lights in our new cookware.
Shadow of window blinds.
Outdoor light shadow on the house siding.
The next group of photos are all due to the glass in our front door at various times of the day.
This is the same spot as the above photo was taken by the grandfather clock but at a slightly different time of day.
The window pane pattern repeated on the front entry walls.
Besides walls it also decorates carpeting ...
...and dogs as Hailey demonstrates in this photo.

The pattern of the window panes on the front entry wall is very cool. Kind of modern gothic? As they say, not sure what it is but I know what I like!

What beautiful patterns. So amazing, I will check to see if we have any in our house. I particularly like the pattern on the staircase and of course what a clever girl Hailey is to help with the demonstration.

Love the reflections, especially that shot of the stairs. And I’ve always thought Venetian blinds made interesting shadows. Did you ever see the video for the old Motels song “Shame”? Lots of Venetian blind shadows, as I recall.

Welcome, Steve! Glad you stopped by!
Thanks, the shadows from the blinds changes with the season and the angle of the sun. I find them really interesting.
And no, I ‘ve never seen that video. I’ll have to look it up on YouTube and have a look.
