Oh no!!!! So are you just going to leave us hanging? Did E-bay get the bird or not??!!! Maybe the feeder is just a tad too low! Or was that two pieces of video put together? Was that a rufous hummingbird?
Brilliant! I get the Jaws theme. I cracked up when I saw Ebay’s ear come into view. Super video, now we need the music. Those are some majestic hummers. Love it,Rick!

Carolyn, haha! No hummers or cats were harmed in the making of this video. ;P
Bigsis, Jaws for sure! It’s the first thing that came to our minds too! How come you could watch this video and the ones of Bella you could not? Did the video posted to the blog (i.e. the embedded code one) work for you? Interesting to know for future reference.

ha! but I know hummers are way too smart for e-bay to catchem…..
We once had a feeder off the deck rails at our place and the hummers where enjoying it until the cats figured it out and were sitting on the rail watching. Then the hummers flew a few feet away and yelled at me! I moved the feeder to a nearby tree pretty quickly. Smart little birds. They will dive bomb my kitchen window if the feeder is empty or not fresh enough for their tastes.
Love the slo mo of the birds though… such amazing creatures!
