Looking for all the world like exotic mushrooms growing underneath the huge pines, the statues of Asia, America, Africa and Europe take their winter rest under cover.

Next time I come up, please take me to Skylands so I can see these statues. I can’t imagine what they look like or why they are covered up only on top, but I’ll take your word for it!!! They do look like tall mushrooms.

They are really deteriorating so I’m glad they are trying to protect them from the elements as much as possible. They do look rather silly though right now.
