These photos were taken Monday late afternoon just ahead of the snow/sleet/ice storm we are now in the middle of.
It was kind of like watching waves on a beach. They just kept rolling by.
But then they started to stack up.
I don’t know what kind of clouds they were but they must have a name. Anybody know?
Lynne, I think they are mackeral clouds which indicate moisture. Hope your ice storm isn’t too bad!

Margaret, no kidding! I am still chipping the ice off my front steps!
Hah! my word verification is “hospital” which I could have ended up in after trying to get rid of all this ice!

I think I would rather have the very high winds and rain we are experiencing today rather than an ice storm. I have seen enough ice, frost and snow for this winter. I hope your storm is not too severe.

Joyce, it wasn’t too bad. At least not as bad as some other places. I don’t like the ice!!
