The Snowicane cometh

Oh. My. Goodness. It’s been snowing since I got up this morning. We have about 5-6 inches already on the ground and they are saying the main part of the storm is just gearing up now. I just may get my wish about being snowed in. The snow is falling fast and furious out there, but so far no wind.

I made a pork chile verde this morning and it’s bubbling away in the crock pot. I just now started the wood stove up after splitting some wood. We’ve got the lanterns all ready to go, the butane and Coleman propane stoves located, and water in large containers just in case we lose power.

I guess we’re ready for whatever Mother Nature is going to throw at us. Bring it on!

You should see my forsynthias! They’re against the ground, the pine trees in the back don’t look so good either. Well, Tucker’s having a great time and so I am. I’ll prolly get another snow day tomorrow too!
I did a bit of shoveling but this snow sure accumulates fast! My mom said she saw a bunch of cars off the side of the road that lost control on her way home from work.
I love snow =]

sounds like fun….I kinda wish we’d get another good storm. I am looking forward to hearing about Chopped as well. Take care guys.
