Yesterday I awoke to a blue sky! Hurrah! I quickly planned to shower and head out with the camera back to Long Pond Ironworks so I could re-do some of the snaps I took the other day that I was not happy with. When I got out of the shower, what I had thought to be blue sky earlier in the morning turned out to be nothing more than a big blueish cloud and now the whole sky was overcast. More overcast than the day before. To add insult to injury it also started spitting snow! The nerve! I disgruntledly cast aside my little photography jaunt and took the dogs for a short ride in the truck instead.

It sticnks when you have your mind set on a plan and then have to do an about-face. Just catching up on some of your posts…my mom is not doing well, everthing is in turmoil, blogs are keeping me sane although I’m missing so much - ugh! I totally relate re. the shower door…why oh why do we always have to get into a ‘discussion’ to get what is right? And this is the norm! Loving the photos!

Helene, I am so so sorry re your Mom. I lost mine in 2007 and would give just about anything to have her back. I can relate. Thanks for loving the photos. Just keep in mind that you don’t want any regrets with your Mom.

Argh! March is certainly a temperamental time—particularly early March. Isn’t this the “In like a lion, out like a lamb” month? Just remember that lamb is right around the corner.
