Let me preface this by saying I hate football. There. I’ve said in front of everybody.
I don’t get it.
I don’t understand it.
A bunch of grown men run around and into each other (but never getting very far) before they fall on top of each other.
Minutes on the clock can turn into hours. Mere seconds can easily turn into 45 minutes.
Imagine if we could stop the clock on our own lives like that. Click : time stopped. Click : time restarted. I just turned three minutes into 45 minutes! Wow! Think of all the extra living we could do over the years if we added them all up. We’d have so much extra time to spend living our lives.
With all that extra time I’d have on my hands I can tell you this: I would not spend it watching football.
I can’t wait for the Super Bowl because it means the end of football season. Finally other shows I have TiVo’d won’t have to extended by an hour or more just to make sure they fully record.
Still ... I guess I’m glad the Jets won.
