Prioritization
In the business world, I am often confronted with the need to prioritize my work, or the work of people who work for me. Inevitably there is a list of 10 things that absolutely must be done or the world will end! Yet, we only have time or money for 3 things…
Here is a thought exercise that I’ve shared with people I work with, and that helps me really decide what is most important.

Sailor Wins 5-Point Major!
I’m posting this a little “after the fact”...but, this summer we went to several dog shows in Montana. We showed 6 times (Alex, Daisy, and Sailor). All the dogs did well, but no big wins until that very last day, when Sailor won a 5 point major. (Sometime soon I’ll explain what that means…but, trust me it is a really big deal!)
He won under a very prestigious and highly respected judge. Here is a photo:

Moose at the Cabin
Several weeks ago, we had visitors at the cabin. It was about 7:30 p.m. and I was reading a book. I set the book down and looked across the cabin and out our bedroom window—and saw a moose walking by!
Lynne had never seen the moose up there and so I grabbed her, whispered “MOOSE!”, (well, maybe not a whisper), and pulled her out onto the front porch, closing the door behind me. Luckily, none of the dogs knew what was going on.

The World’s Best Green Chili Cheeseburger
The world’s best green chili cheeseburger can only be had in Carrizozo, NM. Here is a photo of the bar/restaurant. If you are ever in Carrizozo, just look for this place along the main north-south street. While it looks a little rough, it is a great family restaurant…and, has the world’s best green chili cheeseburger—I promise!

Yes, Dogs can Nurse Kittens
When we got our kitten, eBay, (it is a long story), she was only 3 or 4 weeks old. She was ugly and scrawny….and, hungry. We had two dogs able to produce a little milk, Mira and Margaux. Here is a photo of Margaux, nursing eBay.
