A Very Cool Poem

This poem was written around the slow motion footage of a horse jump. Shot with a Phantom camera. Enjoy!

Slow-Mo Shot of STS128 Night Liftoff

This was shot at 2048x2048 with a Phantom HD camera at 200 pictures-per-second. Here it is reduced in size to about 640x640 and compressed to make it play over the web.

Hummingbird Movies

I’ve posted a number of slow-motion hummingbird movies here. They were taken at our cabin in Colorado in June, 2008.

Goat Song

This short read by Brad Kessler was a lot of fun. It is about a couple who move from the city to a country farm in Vermont to raise goats and make cheese. It is a great diary of their dairy and a “year in their life”, and is also well researched with lots of history and lore about man’s relationship with goats since the beginning of history. To someone who likes country life, cheese, life-long learning, and maybe even goats, this was a fun read.
