This is super easy to make and very authentic. It multiplies easily. Add more white pepper to make it hotter. |

We use this with home made egg rolls. It is enough for about 4 egg rolls, so we often double it. |

Ingredients:
1 tbs. dry yellow mustard powder 1/8 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. white pepper 1-1/2 tsp. hot water 1/2 tsp. vegetable oil 1/2 tsp. rice wine vinegar |
Instructions:
1. Mix the dry ingredients together in a small bowl until evenly combined. Add the water and stir well until you have a liquid paste. Add oil and vinegar and stir well until combined. Let rest, covered, 10 minutes. Taste and adjust seasoning to your preferences. 2. More water or oil will make it thinner. More vinegar will make it more tart. Omit the vinegar to make it spicier as the vinegar makes it a bit mellower. Add more white pepper or mustard powder to make it spicier. |
