Pimento Cheeseburger Hand Pies

Ingredients:
1 tbs. olive oil

1/2 white onion, finely diced
1/2 lb ground beef 93% lean

1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
3 sheets pie or crescent roll dough
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbs. yellow or dijon mustard
2 tbs. ketchup
3 tbs. dill relish
6 slices American cheese, cut into halves
1/4 cup milk
1 cup pimento cheese

Instructions:
Add olive oil to skillet and heat over medium. Add onion and cook for 1 minute. Add beef and cook for 5-7 minutes, breaking up finely as it cooks. Add garlic and cook 1 minute more. Season with salt and pepper to taste and remove from heat. Set aside.
Flour flat work surface. Roll out first sheet of dough and cut into rectangles 3 ½” x 4 ½” .
Preheat oven to 375˚F. To cooled beef add Worcestershire sauce, mustard, ketchup, relish. With finger run a bit of milk along the edge of bottom crust. Place some American cheese on half the rectangles. Top with 2 tablespoons beef filling then add a tablespoon of pimento cheese.
Place empty dough rectangles on top of each one and press with the tines of a fork to seal. Trim excess in straight line. Repeat for second sheet of dough, ending up with 8 hand pies in total.
Place pies on lined baking sheet and brush tops with a bit of milk. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with dipping sauce of your choice.
