MARINADE: 2 tbs. soy sauce 1 1/2 tbs. rice wine or sake 1 tsp. sesame oil Meat of choice (beef, pork, chicken, tofu, etc.) MINCED SEASONINGS: 5 cloves garlic, pressed 1 tbs. minced fresh ginger SAUCE: 3 tbs. hoisin sauce 2 tbs. soy sauce 1 1/2 tbs. rice wine or sake 1 1/2 tbs. sugar 1 tbs. cornstarch |

Instructions:

1. Combine marinade ingredients and marinate your choice of meat, tossing lightly to coat, 30 minutes in fridge. 2. Combine minced seasonings in bowl and set aside. 3. Combine sauce ingredients in bowl along with 1/3 cup water, stir, set aside. 4. Heat 1/2 tbs peanut oil in wok; stir fry meat; remove. 5. Heat another 1/2 tbs oil in wok and stir fry the minced seasonings until fragrant, 10 to 15 seconds. 6. Add your vegetables and 1 tbs rice wine; stir fry about 2 minutes, or according to what vegetable you are using. 7. Pour in reserved sauce mixture and stir constantly until thickened. Return the meat to the wok and toss lightly until heated through. |
