1/2 lb. ground beef 1/2 lb. sliced bacon, coarsely chopped 1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup) 1/2 cup water 1/3 cup packed brown sugar or granulated sugar 1/4 cup bottled BBQ sauce 1/4 cup catsup 2 tbs. molasses 1 to 2 tsp. chili powder 1 31 oz. can pork and beans in tomato sauce 1 15-1/2 oz. can butter beans, rinsed and drained 1 15-1/2 oz. can kidney beans, rinsed and drained |

Instructions:

1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, bacon, and onion until beef is brown. Drain off fat. Stir in water, sugar, BBQ sauce, catsup, molasses and chili powder. Stir in pork and beans, butter beans, and kidney beans. 2. Transfer bean mixture to a 3-quart casserole. Bake, uncovered in a 350 degree oven for one hour, stirring twice. |
