1 cup soft shortening (half butter) 1 cup sifted confectionery sugar 1 egg 1 tsp. vanilla Sift Together: 2-1/2 cups flour 1 tsp. salt |

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 375°F. 2. Cream butter, shortening and sugar together. Add egg and vanilla; blend. Stir in sifted flour and salt. 3. Use cookie press to make assorted Christmas shapes. 4. Bake for 10-12 minutes until just brown. |
